“The Last Anthracite Photographer” Informational Presentation

This page serves as a reminder that “The Last Anthracite Photographer,” a lecture by Scott D. Herring, will take place this Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at 10:00 AM. To get everyone excited about this special speech, we have created a window display showcasing Herring’s array of work (see the image below).

Scott D. Herring is the Hard Coal Region’s Fiduciary Photographer. He has access to information about the Anthracite cultural heritage, anthracite coal mining, and railroad companies. He mainly contributes to the historic restoration efforts throughout the Anthracite Coal Region and eastern Pennsylvania.

This event will include locomotives, photos, and other artifacts on display, as well as coal mining-related merchandise by Scott D. Herring while supplies last. If you would like to learn more about the area’s claim to fame, please join us for this special presentation!
