The Mount Carmel Area Public Library serves the entire Mount Carmel Area School District~Kulpmont, Marion Heights, the Borough of Mount Carmel, Mount Carmel Township~ Atlas, Beaverdale, Centralia, Connersville, Dooleyville, Diamond Town, Locust Gap, Natalie, Strong, and Wilburton~Home of Pennsylvania's Winningest High School Football Team

Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday CLOSED Due to Budget Cuts
Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Library collection holds over 52,000 items- books, audio books, DVDs, compact discs, magazines, Microfilm collection of newspapers dating back to 1860, Kulpmont, MCA, Mt. Carmel Township, Mt. Carmel Catholic and Conyngham Twp. High School year books, a collection of local histories, genealogy sources and more.
Electronic resources at the Library include 4 public computer terminals with color printer, WiFi accessability, a microfilm reader/printer, and a photocopy machine.
What We Do
The Mount Carmel Area Public Library assures public ownership of print collections, digital resources, and gathering spaces for the citizens of the Library district.
