Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday CLOSED Due to Budget Cuts

Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Library collection holds over 52,000 items- books, audio books, DVDs, compact discs, magazines, Microfilm collection of newspapers dating back to 1860, Kulpmont, MCA, Mt. Carmel Township, Mt. Carmel Catholic and Conyngham Twp. High School year books, a collection of local histories, genealogy sources and more.

Electronic resources at the Library include 4 public computer terminals with color printer, WiFi accessability, a microfilm reader/printer, and a photocopy machine.

What We Do

The Mount Carmel Area Public Library assures public ownership of print collections, digital resources, and gathering spaces for the citizens of the Library district.  We are committed to sustaining the value of public library services for our communities through the use of traditional and innovative technologies.
